Updates on my pathetic life.


Work –
Finally, gathered the courage to submit my resignation letter last 11 April. So my last day with this company is on 10 May. So looking forward to that day. No more screaming at the girls, no more getting screamed from customers.

Less Stress = Less Short-Temper. Hopefully.

Yeah Right. Haha.

Family –

3 weeks back I received the most panicky call ever. Mami called saying that she was from polyclinic and the ordered her to go straight to Hospital because they apparently found a lump in her ‘cik rahim’. More Panic because Mami and me could not get hold of Dad. Stupidly none of us know the phone number of his working place. Tried searching using yellow pages online but the only listed is their fax number. Nabeh. Luckily, my aunt managed to get hold of the Dad’s work place and the kan-cheong me managed to leave a msg for Dad.

Took urgent half-day, rushed over to KK. Took a number and waited like foever before it was our turn. Seriously, I don’t know the doctor is acting stupid or really-really stupid. Mami was Ordered by the doctors at the polyclinic to go to KK RIGHT AWAY, and a referral letter was given. When it was our turn, the Stupid KK doc checked my mom and say it was nothing. When I not so-politely point out that if that’s the case, why the hell the poly docs instruct my mom to go over to hospital right away? THAN only that bloody KK doctor, look blankly at my face, consulted my mom’s files and read the referral letter, THEN said “ oh ya, I did detected a small lump, so I will schedule a scan for your mom in 2 weeks time”.
Ringan je tangan aku nak sepak muka dier laju2…

Thus last Thursday, accompanied Mami to KK hospital for her scanning… Spent God-knows how many f***ing hours there. Mlang also went along… Scanning appointment at 8a.m, so we went out abt 6.45 am… (ter-ingat zaman primary-secondary sekolah dulu, kena kluar pagi-pagi.) Scanning was fast, within 15 mins was done, took the shuttle bus back to novena, had breakfast at TTSH… Walked ard at Novena Sqaure while killing time as the doctor’s appointment is at 2pm. Slowly proceed back to KKH, even thoush we were an hour early for the appointment, it was almost 3 when we finally manage to see the doc.

Lucky this time, the doctor was really nice, he took the time to explained to me and answer my (stupid) questions abt that scan result, abt the lump/growth, the surgery that mami have to undergo in order to get rid of that thing and the things that my mom have to undergo before they can conduct the surgery.

To end the long story short, we have to go up and down the hospital to get my mom check if she is fit for surgery, blood test lah, x-ray lah, counseling lah… And mami’s surgery will take place this coming Thursday… Hopefully everything will go on smoothly.. doa kan eh… amin.

Miss all my dear friends.. Really I do. Please please hopefully when I start this new job I have time to hang out with my dear friends that I have neglected all this while..

Happy times -

07.03.08 – 08.03.08My cousins got engaged, my family cook for the event. Tired to the bone, preparing and cooking food for estimated 500 pax. Really luckily the cousins from Johor and their BFs came down to rewang… without them I don’t think my family can do it. Want to depend to my other cousins… haiz.. tak dapat ah… semer tau dating glamor2 je on the day of the majlis… Fuctioning on less than 2 hours of sleep, my dad declared that I am in-charge and responsible on cooking the Nasi of the nasi briyani. Terbeliak kejap mata. Luckily I managed to cook the 35plus kilos of Nasi briyani dgn sempurna. Phew… Anywe the dear engaged cousin, Wany look fabulous on that day…

Turned 23 a week plus back… Yipee! Small celebration with my nearest and dearest. Got a lot of cool presents.. and the most gerek one is my cake is not chocolate! Yeah… Seriously, I so tak favourite chocolate cake. So my dearest cousins and aunt made me a super-delicious strawberry cake… I loike…!!
